Actor-turned-politician Shatrughna Sinha today exhorted all concerned citizens to join politics to bring about a positive change in society.
Speaking at the annual cultural meet of KIIT University ‘Kaizen 08’ in his effervescent best, Sinha underlined that “in order to cleanse the system of all ills, good people must enter the political sphere rather than criticize the prevailing state of affairs from the ring side,” The Shotgun, who took a plunge into politics inspired by Jayprakash Narayan, called upon the younger brigade to play a critical role in deciding the fate of the nation.
Sinha’s charm worked magic among the students who literally clapped and cheered to every word he uttered. In his true inimitable style, Sinha utilised the occasion calling upon all to eschew smoking and stay away from chewing substance as they are significant contributors to oral cancer. Sinha is going from village to village in Bihar to spread awareness on the ill-effects of tobacco.
In his address, DG of Police Mr. G.C.Nanda stressed on creating employability potential among students as getting the right talent has become a major concern for the industry today.
